外滩
Shanghai's iconic waterfront — Art Deco grandeur facing a futuristic skyline.
The Bund is Shanghai's defining image — 1.5km of flood-lit neoclassical and Art Deco buildings facing the dazzling Pudong skyline across the Huangpu River. Visit at dusk when both banks illuminate simultaneously.
The Bund promenade is free and open 24 hours. Best accessed from East Nanjing Road metro station (Line 2 or 10). Walk north or south along the river. The rooftop bar at the Waldorf Astoria offers the best elevated view.
